When I'm feeling small When it's cold outside I don't know who I should believe And when I needed someone special just by my side Who was there?
I believe someday I will love Someone who's by my side Oh someday My special one will come alone I'll pray everyday
I believe kie kaketa ano hi no yume itudemo te o kazashi mamoru
So I believe moshimo kazeni furuete iru toki wa futari de sagaso hi no sasu basho
Someday I will love Someone who's by my side Oh someday oh someday I keep on praying everyday

More to come....
Well, there's alot of stuff going on recently this past week; the essays and projects I have, the fee hike, presentations, V. Day, etc.....
I'm now at the beginning of the mid term study "break," and why that word is in quotation marks is this next few days won't really be a break from work after all. I'll be using this time to catch up on some of my readings, completed a few assignments, and study for midterms.
On the fun side, I recently played Megaman X Collection this past few days, and it was like a trip down memory lane. Besides that, the calendar I ordered from Japan is coming within 2 weeks, I can't wait to get my hands on it.
JOY
Today I discovered the miricle of double photocopying (or xerox, depends on where you're from)-- an art that has remained elusive to me till this day. Just imagine, fewer papers to print on means saving the trees, and fewer papers also mean saving my money.
Free Bird
I walked by the CL today on the way to gym and happened to overhear some familiar tune at the forum downstairs. Curious, I made a detour and walked downstairs and saw this band playing a favourite song of mine:
If I leave here tomorrow Would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on, now, 'Cause there's too many places I've got to see. But, if I stayed here with you, girl, Things just couldn't be the same. 'Cause I'm as free as a bird now, And this bird you can not change. And this bird you can not change. And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I can't change.
Bye, bye, baby its been a sweet love. Though this feeling I can't change. But please don't take it so badly, 'Cause Lord knows I'm to blame. But, if I stayed here with you girl, Things just couldn't be the same. Cause I'm as free as a bird now, And this bird you'll never change. And this bird you can not change. And this bird you can not change Lord knows, I can't change. Lord help me, I can't chaye-ea-ea-ea-. Lord, I can't change. Won't you fly... high...free... bird.. (yeah).
(Guitar Solo)
The tune that the band was playing was somewhat faster in pace than the original song, but the bad thought that came into my mind when I listen to the lead singer was that he was mumbling alot to the point that I could not make out most of the words he sang :(

Things Change
Well it has been a quiet couple of weeks following the results of the exam and my reservist training. One of my friends is coming over a relationship crisis of sorts and I sincerely hope she doesn't get hurt in the future when she makes the choices that need to be made in the present time.
Time goes on, but sometimes we want to go back to the past--the time of happiness, pleasure and glory--and realise that this is not possible and we have to accept and adapt to the changes of the now.
Things change. It is easier to resist in the beginning than in the end.
Phew
Damn, it has been quite a couple of busy weeks for moi. To put it another way, it has been a rollercoaster ride... . On a brighter side, I finally got my Lord Sauron statue and I am now comtemplating whether to get a special display case for the bad ass himself. Well, the final exams are on the horizon, so I better get down to revising. So let me share with you a quote that I have heard in secondary school from a famous german philosopher:
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. For when you look long into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you." -F. Nietzsche
